An optional sightseeing tour of San Diego will be organised on Sunday, August 25, 18:30-20:00.

See San Diego’s famous sights illuminated at dusk as you hop aboard Old Town Trolley Tour’s City Lights Night Tour for a picturesque evening you won’t forget! With the help of their expert guides, you will take in breath-taking views of the city and cruise past notable landmarks, experiencing them like never before.

The 90-minute tour will be a combination of narration and music, and will start off by exploring the West Coast’s premier entertainment district known as the Gaslamp Quarter, famed for its vibrant nightlife, bright lights, and Victorian architecture. You will then make your way to Balboa Park, the largest urban cultural park in the US, transformed at night by stunning buildings, fountains, and statues glowing bright that are equally as remarkable in the evening as they are during the day. From Balboa Park you will drive to the top of Coronado Bridge for more spectacular sights, including the lights coming in from Tijuana, Mexico, the bay, and downtown San Diego. You will then travel to Coronado’s Ferry Landing for a 20-minute stop to take in the stunning beauty of the San Diego city skyline, visible from across the bay and a perfect photo op location. From Coronado, you will make your way to the Embarcadero’s bayfront views. You will see the Historic County Administration Building, Maritime Museum’s Star of India, the USS Midway Museum, Seaport Village, The Headquarters, and Navy aircraft carriers from across the bay.

Tickets cost $21 per person when ordered in advance and include the 90-minute trolley sightseeing tour as well as pick-up and drop-off from Paradise Point Resort.
