Sri trained in microbiology, molecular genetics and metabolism at the National University of Singapore, University of Massachusetts Medical School and Harvard Medical School before joining Cell and ever since has been mesmerized by the daily opportunities to learn across topic areas and disciplines. She is especially interested in microbiology, infectious disease, immunology, human physiology and health. As Deputy Editor, Sri is involved in developing journal strategy, scientific outreach and leads Cell’s efforts towards improving diversity and inclusion as well as building strong relationships with the other Cell Press family of journals.
