Masha Gelfand received her BS in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis and her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Harvard Medical School, where she studied angiogenesis in the brain in the lab of Dr. Chenghua Gu. She has been a Scientific Editor at Developmental Cell since 2012.
