Vj studied chemistry and earned a PhD in organic synthesis at Freie Universität Berlin and did postdoctoral research at City University of New York and Princeton University in chemical biology. He commenced his professional career by working on the chemistry data and literature solution Reaxys. In 2016, he joined the Chem team as one of the inaugural scientific editors and mainly handles synthesis and catalysis, chemical biology, and polymer chemistry manuscripts.
