Beili Wu got her Ph. D. degree at Tsinghua University, Beijing, and worked as a postdoc fellow at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California. She is currently a Professor of Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica (SIMM), CAS. Dr. Wu has been focused on structural and functional studis of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) for over fifteen years. Her current research is focused on deep understanding of molecular mechanisms of GPCR ligand recognitionition, signal transduction, and function modulation, leading to development of new therapeutics for the treatment of severe human diseases.
