Dr. Rando is the Director of the Broad Stem Cell Research Center at UCLA where he is a professor of Neurology and Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology. His lab has been a leader in both stem cell biology and the biology of aging, with a focus on stem cell therapeutics and regenerative medicine. He has published over 200 peer reviewed articles, and he is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, a member of the National Academy of Medicine, and a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
