Keynote speaker

Malin Parmar is Professor of Cellular Neuroscience at Lund University and a Distinguished Professor of the Swedish Research Council. Her research focuses on cell-based therapies for Parkinson’s disease, including direct neuronal reprogramming and the generation of dopamine neurons from stem cells. She leads the first-in-human STEM-PD clinical trial in Europe and is a member of the Swedish Royal Academy of Sciences. Dr. Parmar also serves on the executive board of the ISSCR and is internationally recognized for translating groundbreaking neuroscience into clinical applications.
