Rohit Pappu, PhD, is the Edwin H. Murty Professor of Engineering in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis, USA. Dr. Pappu received his Ph.D. in theoretical and biological physics from Tufts University. Following two postdoctoral fellowships at Washington University's School of Medicine and the Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Pappu joined the faculty of the BME department at Washington University in 2001. Dr. Pappu's research interests are focused on the biophysics of intrinsically disordered proteins and the cellular processes driven by these proteins.  For more details, please visit: http://pappulab.wustl.edu.
