Organizer

Ivayla Ivanova is a scientific editor at Developmental Cell since 2022. In this role, she handles manuscripts from submissions to publications, manages special issues on cutting-edge topics and liaises with authors, reviewers, and editors. Her background is in molecular biology with PhD obtained jointly from the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) and the University of Dundee for her work on RNA modifications in mammalian germ cell development. She is passionate about communicating science and promoting high-quality and innovative research in development and disease modelling.
