Marc Tittgemeyer, Max Planck Institute for Metabolism Research, Germany
Marc Tittgemeyer is a tenured research group leader at the Max Planck Institute for Metabolism Research and adjunct professor of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Cologne, Germany. He gained his PhD in Physics from the Karlsruhe Technical University, Germany. He was introduced to Neuroscience and pre-clinical Medicine at the Max Planck Institute for Cognitive and Brain Research in Leipzig, Germany. His research at the Cologne Institute, with which he has been affiliated since 2014, focuses on the physiological pathways that mediate individual differences in adaptive behaviour and risk for pathology implicated in controlling energy homeostasis.
