In 2015, he joined Prof. Vamsi Mootha’s lab at the Broad Institute, Harvard Medical School, and Massachusetts General Hospital. As an EMBO and Swiss National Science Foundation postdoctoral fellow, he used systems biology to identify nuclear genes involved in energy metabolism, including mitochondrial subunits and pre-mRNA splicing factors.
