Navdeep S. Chandel, PhD is the David W. Cugell, MD, Professor of Medicine and Biochemistry & Molecular Genetics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. His laboratory is interested in understanding how mitochondria work as signaling organelles to regulate physiology and pathology through the release of ROS and L-2hydroxyglutarate (L-2HG). He has written “Navigating Metabolism” (Cold Spring Harbor Press), an introductory book to metabolism.
