Dr. Sue Bodine

Dr. Sue Bodine recently moved to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation as a Professor in the Aging and Metabolism Program. She is also a Research Health Scientist at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center. Dr. Bodine is a Neuromuscular Physiologist whose general field of study is skeletal muscle plasticity. Her primary research interests are in understanding the mechanisms that regulate skeletal muscle mass and function. Since 2017 her lab has been involved in the Molecular Transducers of Physical Activity Consortium (MoTrPAC) as a Preclinical Animal Study Site. She served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Applied Physiology from 2017-2023.
