Matthew Beymer received his Ph.D. in Genetics from SUNY Stony Brook, where he studied the integration of metabolic signals on the reproductive axis in the laboratory of Dr. Maricedes Acosta-Martinez. He then went on to further investigate the seasonal and neuroendocrine control of reproduction in the lab of Dr. Valerie Simonneaux at the Institute of Cellular and Integrative Neuroscience in Strasbourg, France for his postdoctoral work. He joined Cell Press in 2017 as Editor of Trends in Endocrinology and Metabolism.
