Dr. Zhenhong Lin is Professor at School of Future Technology of South China University of Technology (SCUT) and Distinguished Researcher at Guangdong Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Laboratory. Before joining SCUT in 2022, he was a Distinguished Research Scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.  He is currently leading the Energy and Carbon Decision group, with research interests in energy technologies and decarbonization strategies. He has authored over 100 technical articles on energy transition issues. Lin is Editor-in-Chief for Journal of Renewable and Sustainable Energy. He served on the U.S. National Academies’ Committee on the Assessment of Technologies for Improving Fuel Economy of Light-Duty Vehicles. He received his PhD and MS in transportation energy from University of California, Davis and his BE/MS in automotive engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing.
