Marina de Padua Pieroni Over 10 years of experience within sustainability and circular economy strategies and business models in varied industries and public bodies in Europe and Latin America. Over the past three years Marina has focused on deploying circular economy in pharmaceutical industry, with experience on sustainable resins for drug delivery devices and waste reduction in manufacturing (e.g. plastic recycling, reuse schemes). Marina has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering with focus on Circular Business Model Innovation from the Technical University of Denmark, a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Sao Paulo (Brazil), and a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Sao Carlos (Brazil).
