Dr Békés is Director of Platform Biology at Arvinas, where he leads the Degrader Mechanisms Group. His team is tasked with the discovery and characterization of novel small molecule PROTAC® protein degraders in the expanding targeted protein degradation (TPD) landscape. He holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Pathology from the University of California, San Diego, and conducted post-doctoral studies in the ubiquitin field at New York University School of Medicine and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
