Dr. Hao Bai, is a professor at the College of Chemical and Biological Engineering, Zhejiang University. His research interests fall in multiscale design and fabrication of bioinspired materials. Representative works include high-performance thermal insulation fiber and textile mimicking polar bear hair and lightweight, multifunctional macroporous materials. His researches have been published in top-tier academic journals such as Nature, Nature Materials, Nature Communications, Science Advances, and Advanced Materials. His works have over 13,000 citations and have been highlighted in Nature, Science, and Chemistry & Engineering News. He has won the "Outstanding Youth Foundation" from National Natural Science Foundation, the National Overseas High-level Talents Introduction Plan Youth Project Funding, as well as the "Qiu Shi Outstanding Youth Scholar Award" from the Qiu Shi Science and Technology Foundation in Hong Kong, the Chinese Academy of Sciences' Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences President's Special Award. Currently, he serves as a member of the Biomimetic Materials Chemistry Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society, the editorial board member of China Science and Technology Science, etc.
