Anhui Lu, Dalian University of Technology, China
An-Hui Lu received his PhD degree from the Institute of Coal Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2001. After postdoctoral work (as a Max Planck research fellow and Alexander von Humboldt fellow) in the group of Prof. F. Schüth at Max-Planck- Institut für Kohlenforschung, he was promoted to group leader in 2005. He is currently a professor at the State Key Laboratory of Fine Chemicals, School of Chemical Engineering, Dalian University of Technology since 2008. He is Cheung Kong Distinguished Professor, Winner of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, Participant of the Program for New Century Excellent Talents of Ministry of Education of China.
Prof. Lu’s research interests include synthesis of porous materials for heterogeneous catalysis, adsorption, energy storage and conversion. He has authored or co-authored more than 200 journal publications (including JACS, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., etc.), and edited 2 books. His work has been cited more than 16,000 citations (H index 59), named as a Highly Cited Researcher by Elsevier. He is the chair of Chemistry Select and editors of Scientific Reports, ChemCatChem, Science China Materials, Journal of Materials Chemistry.
